The Bolloré Brothers open their first paper mill.
1838
Jean Bardou invents the first booklet of cigarette rolling papers.
The JOB brand is born.
1894
The Braunstein brothers register the patent for the first interleaving machine.
The Zig-Zag brand is born.
1918
The brand OCB is born (the acronym brings together the names Odet, Cascadet, and Bolloré.
1956
The Braunstein company, owners of the Zig-Zag brand, is acquired by the Bolloré and JOB companies.
1986
Bolloré acquires JOB and becomes Bolloré Technologies. It sells OCB, Zig-Zag, and JOB products.
2000
The company is acquired by Republic Technologies International.
2002
Republic Technologies International acquires or creates European production and distribution companies.
